From their very first day in the salon, our stylists are supported, guided, and inspired to grow,; not just in skill, but in confidence and creativity.
Our training program is led by our Director Stylist, Rianni, whose wealth of experience and meticulous eye for detail ensures every team member receives the highest level of education. With her guidance, stylists move through a carefully structured pathway that develops their technical expertise, client care, and personal style, all while embracing the Jet Black Ginger philosophy.
Every stylist begins their journey with us as a Junior Stylist. This stage is all about building strong foundations and mastering the basics, developing precision, and learning the importance of truly listening to each client. From there, they evolve into an Up-and-Coming Stylist, where they begin to discover their creative flair, gain confidence behind the chair, and take on more dynamic challenges.
As their skills expand and grow, they step into the role of Senior Stylist. At this level, stylists refine advanced techniques, manage a wide variety of client needs, and start to share their knowledge by mentoring others. The pinnacle of the program is the Head Stylist position, a role that reflects not only technical excellence but also leadership, artistry, and the embodiment of the Jet Black Ginger standard.
To reflect this progression, our menu is structured with tiered pricing based on the stylist’s level. When booking, our reservations team will always ask if you have a preference for a particular stylist.
